About Us

 Rev. G. Wellington Jesudoss is one of the senior presbyter in CSI Madras Diocese with 30+ years of experience. An excellent Leader, Administrator and Preacher with passion to work on Gospel Ministry. He played Area Chairman role in southern area and Director of City Mission in Madras Diocese. And worked with four Bishops of Madras Diocese.

 He has taken charge of CSI Wesley Tamil Church, St. Thomas Mount during Corona pandemic year (June-2020). However, Congregation never missed a single service to hear the word of God even in complete lockdown period. 

In the last four-years, ministries are extended through Gospel, Medical and Educational support. Young Couple Fellowship is formed newly. All fellowships meetings and retreat are organized regularly. Convention with external speaker is arranged quarterly. Forty days Lent daily meditation is conducted every year. St. Thomas Mount Rally is organized along with National Shrine Roman Catholic congregation.

Church campus wall is built with bible verses in stone. LED bible verses display board are installed on both side of entrance to proclaim God’s word in St. Thomas Mount region. Also, Open Air Chapel formed near Mount Poonamallee road entrance for anyone to have prayers at any time.  Also Sunday school block is constructed in main church (St. Thomas Mount) and village church (Velavedu) for children’s ministry.

Church campus Garden and pathway are  beautified. Parish Hall is renovated entirely. Currently Church renovation is in progress with Tamil Nadu Govt Heritage Church Grant.
